My nursery specializes in rare, beautiful and unusual cacti and succulents.

I have spent the better part of the past 10 years sourcing cacti & succulent seeds from all over the world as well as from within Australia from private collectors.

That is where nearly everything sold through Spine City originates from, seeds.

In addition to this, I began hybridising cacti and to a lesser extent succulents about 7 years ago.
It is these pursuits that allow me to offer cacti and succulent plants that you will not find anywhere else.

As of 2023, we are now fully self sufficient with seed production.

Each plant in our collection is carefully nurtured and cared for to ensure that it thrives in its new home.

My goal when producing plants is not how fast I can get them to sale but rather, what are the best techniques I can use to ensure this is a strong, healthy and vigorous plant.

Put simply.
Our plants are grown slowly.
(grafting excepted of course)
