They grow huge tap roots which will often be larger than the plant itself and for this reason the substrate mix must be free draining.
We prefer a high to full mineral mix.

For best results choose a position with moderate to strong light.

Watering should be infrequent during active growth (spring to autumn) every 10-14 days.

Do not water during times of extreme cold or heat.
